Your Profile
- Completed university degree, ideally in psychology, business psychology, economics, or a comparable discipline with a background in behavioral science
- Pedagogical aptitude, which is usually demonstrated by teaching experience
- Special aptitude for scientific work, usually demonstrated by a qualified doctorate or by achievements equivalent to a doctorate
- At least five years of professional experience, at least three of which were gained outside the university sector
- A relevant research background, demonstrated, for example, by publications and, if applicable, the acquisition of third-party funding
Required Expertise
We expect specialized knowledge in the field of business psychology, particularly in at least two of the following areas:
- General and social psychology
- Work and organizational psychology
- Applied behavioral sciences
- Behavioral economics
- Empirical social research
Desirable Expertise
- Decision psychology
- Cognitive psychology
- Market psychology
- Market research
Further Requirements
- Subject areas to be represented both in teaching and in applied research
- Very good didactical skills
- Willingness to participate in the exchange with international partner universities and to offer courses in English
- Committed participation in teaching basic subjects and possibly giving lectures in related subject areas
- Integration into the existing team both professionally and personally
- Participation in the academic self-administration of the university
- Willingness to impart knowledge from own professional experience to students
- Intensifying and expanding collaborations with universities, research institutions and companies is highly desired
- Active participation in the university's research activities is desired
- German language skills (at least level C1) and English language skills are required
- Teaching language is mainly German
