Research Associate & Lecturer in Environmental and Energy Economics 60–80 %

Acquisition of externally funded research and projects, as well as contributing to and leading research projects • Research in environmental economics, including publication of scientific outputs • Teaching in environmental or economics-related subjects at Bachelor, Master and continuing education levels including supervision of Bachelor and Master theses • Contributing to the broader activities of the Centre for Energy and the Environment, including public outreach and international collaboration

PhD in Environmental Economics or a closely related field • Ideally professional experience in environmental economics or a related domain • Proven track record of publications in international peer-reviewed journals • Previous teaching experience at a higher education institution • Strong interest in interdisciplinary collaboration • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and at least one Swiss national language; willingness to learn German • Open, communicative personality with strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills • Independent, structured, and flexible working style • Team-oriented mindset with collaborative spirit • Experience with numerical modelling (e.g., Computable General Equilibrium models) is an advantage Application deadline: 16.August 2026; first interviews will take place in late August / early September 2026
