Postdoctoral researcher Epigenetics in Forebrain Development (m/f/d)

to work on a highly topical research project with state-of-the art technology in a collaborative setting
Training options in advanced laboratory and/or bioinformatics methods
option to qualify for teaching of macroscopic and microscopic anatomy
an international work atmosphere
a scheme towards academic qualification
Participation in the university’s training offers for postdoctoral scientists, e.g. coaching and workshops
regular training on aspects of good scientific practice
Participation in national third-party funded consortia

a strong background in biochemistry, biology, molecular medicine, medicine or equivalent
documented experience in techniques of cell biology, protein biochemistry and molecular biology, applied to understand the development or function of the central nervous system
experience in live cell microscopy, or electroporation techniques would be considered as additional surplus, as is experience in brain organoid research
experience with bioinformatical analyses of large data sets and next-generation-sequencing ideally on single cell level is also desirable
very good communication skills in English, for teaching also in German
the ability to work synergistically in a team
an outstanding PhD or MD degree
Passion, curiosity and high motivation for unsolved research questions in the field of neurodevelopmental epigenetics
