Postdoctoral Position (m/f/d) in Hematology / Oncology Research

Your Tasks:

• Design and lead experiments using ribosome and polysome profiling workflows, metabolic profiling, functional cell-based assays and drug sensitivity assays
• Design an conduct in vivo experiments in (patient-derived xenograft) mouse models
• Analyze and interpret multi-omic sequencing data using established pipelines, in close collaboration with bioinformaticians
• take responsibility for laboratory safety and contribute to the supervision and training of doctoral students
• actively contribute to manuscript preparation, grant applications and the scientific direction of the group

Your profile:

• Doctorate in biology, biochemistry, molecular medicine, or a related field, ideally with a strong publication record
• excellent background in cell and molecular biology, with a strong interest in translational cancer research
• Documented experience with cell culture, functional cell-based assays and animal models
• a highly motivated, independent, collaborative and diligent working style, with ambition to grow into scientific leadership
• professional working proficiency in English
