Postdoc in digital demography

Research on topics related to digital demography, including aging, fertility, migration, and digital transformation • Coordination and further development of the social science data platform together with collaborators • Collaboration on research projects of the Digital Society Lab • Teaching contributions in the Bachelor and Master programs of the department • Further development of own research agenda • Participation in academic activities of the IFS and the department

PhD in sociology or related disciplines • Relevant qualifications in sociology, demography, computational social science, or related disciplines • Research experience in demographic research and digital social research • Interest in computational approaches and data-driven social research • Experience with quantitative methods and data analysis • Experience with data visualization and/or public-facing data platforms is an advantage • Experience in teaching at the Bachelor and Master levels is a plus • Proficiency in spoken and written English; sound knowledge of German is a plus • Experience with writing third-party funding applications is a plus
